The Arts Society Thames Estuary Young Arts Exhibition 2018

An exhibition of art work from students of eleven local schools attracted two hundred visitors, including Sir David Amess and Rebecca Harris to The Old Fire Station in Hadleigh over the weekend of Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th October.

The standard of work was extremely high and showed the amazing talent of these young artists. Students and teachers said they were inspired and family members of those students exhibiting were extremely proud of their achievements and talent. One sample is shown here, but we hope to add more images to our gallery soon.

The Arts Society Thames Estuary would like to thank the Art department staff at the following schools for making these works available in their busy schedules...

Belfairs Academy,  Chase High School,  Eastwood Academy, The FitzWimarc School, Shoebury High School, Southend High School for Boys, Southend High School for Girls, St. Bernards High School, The Sweyne Park School, Westcliff High School for Boys,  Westcliff High School for Girls

...with a special thank you to Mrs Ruth Stewart (SHSG) for co-ordinating the art work.

We wish these young artists all the best in their chosen careers and thank them for sharing their talent, enthusiasm and creativity.
