The Arts Society is the UK’s leading Arts Education Charity with a network of over 380 local societies which bring people together through a shared curiosity for the arts. The belief that The Arts have the potential to enrich peoples lives is at the heart of everything we do.

Thames Estuary, your local society branch was founded in 1989 by Mrs Barbara Askwith. The pledge then was to increase enjoyment and knowledge of our cultural heritage of fine and decorative arts and to stimulate interest in its preservation. Today this has been expanded to include all forms of art, from all areas of origin since the beginning of time, thus giving us a vast catalogue to choose from for our monthly lectures and linked events.

We offer an opportunity for you to connect with like-minded people and make friends through a shared interest. New members and guests are welcome.

If you were able to attend our lecture on  Wednesday 4th November, when James Campbell told us all about  "Shephard's War", we would love to have your feedback. The easiest way is to click on the button below, enter the password and your scores and comments. If you have forgotten the password, don't worry because an email reminder will be sent to members - just keep checking for it.

It's a great help if you can let us know what you thought of the lecture, as we reflect these in the scores and comments we send back to The Arts Society.
